Tree Lighting & Shop Local Evening
- Description:
- The Marfa Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to a Christmas Tree Lighting Party and Shop Local Evening on Thursday, December 16 beginning at 5:30pm.
We will have a very tall tree on the courthouse lawn decorated with large ornaments made by Marfa students. There will be refreshments and music. Santa will be there too - so bring your camera. Hope you will join in the fun!
Following the tree lighting, Marfa businesses will stay open late (until at least 9pm) for shopping and visiting. The chamber of commerce encourages residents and visitors to SHOP LOCALLY to support businesses owned by our friends and neighbors

Christmas Open House @ Marfa Library
- Description:
- The Friends of the Marfa Public Library are hosting a Christmas Open House from 11am-5pm at the library. Please come to this community gathering and celebrate the holidays with your friends at the library.
Marfa Elementary School Children's Choir
- Description:
- The Marfa Elementary School Children's Choir presents two daytime Christmas concerts. PreKindergarten through 1st Grades will sing on Wednesday, Dec 15 from noon till 1pm.
2nd Grade through 4th Grade students will perform from noon till 1pm on Thursday, Dec 16. Both concerts will be at the Gregg Auditorium at the MJSH School.
