Gem & Mineral Show
- Description:
- The 20th annual Big Bend Gem & Mineral Show. This year's theme is "Hidden Treasures of West Texas." Numerous events are planned, including a Rock Food Table (rocks that look like food), a Rock for Life dance, a Grub Run Rally, kids' corner and field trips to Woodward Ranch and Red Rock Ranch. There will also be hourly door prizes and a grand prize. Admission is free. At the Highlands Event Center, across Hwy 90 from Sul Ross State University.
