Tamarind Master Printer, Robert Arber, founded Arber & Son Editions, a fine art, lithography, print shop in New Mexico in 1976 and relocated to Marfa in 1998. Arber has produced limited edition lithographs and woodcuts for numerous, internationally known artists including Donald Judd, Bruce Nauman, John Baldessari, Ilya Kabakov, Richard Prince, Al Taylor and David Rabinowitch. In 2003, the 30x30cm Project was begun. This is an ongoing series of print projects by selected Artists-in-Residence at the Chinati Foundation. Each artist's work is presented in a 30 centimeter square portfolio box; seven volumes to date have been completed. The projects vary from nine, individual prints to a single, folded print measuring 8 feet in length, each is produced in an edition of forty. This on-going project can be viewed at 128 E. El Paso Street, just around the corner from the Marfa Book Company, the entrance faces the railroad tracks.

Big Bend Art: Paintings and Sculpture by Mary Baxter The gallery features art by Mary Baxter: contemporary landscape paintings, and animal sculptures. The landscape paintings are contemporary treatments of locations throughout the Big Bend region, from Big Bend National Park to the Davis Mountains and the Marfa Plateau. Sizes range from small plein air studies to large scale canvases of six feet or more. The sculptures are lively sketches in wire and other mediums of some of the animals of the Big Bend: jackrabbits, turkey vultures, deer. The Marfa Studio of Arts (MSA) is a non-profit arts organization founded in 1999. With the mission of building cultural understanding through the language of art, it is recognized for providing free, high quality visual arts programming for children and youth through its special focus program Studio In The Elementary School (SITES) and an afterschool arts program that operates Monday through Thursday. Children and families who tour the 1000 sq. foot Children's Gallery on weekends are invited to make a piece of art during their visit. MSA is open to the public Monday-Thursday, 3:30-6:00, Saturday and Sunday, 1:00-5:00, and by appointment.
