The Marfa and Presidio County Museum Association Board of Directors will hold its annual public meeting at 6 PM, Tuesday, April 5, at the museum. The purpose of the annual open meeting is to report to the community on the museum's activities during the previous year and on plans for the current year. All interested persons are cordially invited to attend. The museum is located at 110 West San Antonio St. (Hwy 90), just west of the Exxon station.

Texas Toast Culinary Tours heads to Big Bend Country again, April 4-8 � and we�d like to invite local folks to have some fun with our group.
We�ll be based in Marfa, and we have a couple of events at El Cosmico open to joiners.
On Wednesday, April 6, chef Lou Lambert of Austin and Fort Worth will teach a cooking class at El Cosmico. An elaborate lunch is included, with wine and beer. Noon-2:30 pm, $85 per person, includes a goody bag with souvenirs and recipes.

On Saturday, April 9 the Kokernot Lodge amphitheater in Alpine will host a music and dance festival to benefit Relay for Life. There will be arts, crafts, food, and activities for the kids. The fun starts at noon. Admission will be $5 suggested minimum donation at the door for adults and $1 for children.
The musical line up includes Border Blasters, A.W.Ayon (from Las Cruces), S.H.I.L.O. (from Artesia, N.M.), Ranger Canyon with Charles Maxwell, Eclectic Voyager, The Bent LoveHandles, The Doodlin' Hogwallops, and more! We will also have Mystic Gitanas, DanceTahiti, Tahiti Iti, ABC Playschool and Baile Folklorico dancers.
