                                                                                                        The 22nd Annual Marfa Lights Festival will take place on the courthouse square in downtown Marfa Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31. 

The celebration kicks-off at 5PM on Friday when food and craft vendors open their booths.  At 8PM, Los Texas Wranglers will take the downtown stage for a free concert and street dance.  The festival closes at midnight.

On Saturday the fun starts with a 11AM parade down Highland Avenue.  Vendors and music will entertain throughout the day until 8PM. 

Blackwell School Alliance will sponsor Saturday and Sunday night dances at Vizcaino Park.   The Resonators will open the concert at 8PM.  Tejano Music Award winner Michael Salgado will then entertain the crown until about 1AM.

On Sunday, the vendors and daytime music return to the courthouse square at noon.  The festival continues until 6PM. 

Sunday evening, El Gato Negro along with Grammy and Tejano Music Award winner Ruben Ramos will perform from 8PM till midnight.  Ramos is celebrating his 35th year as an entertainer. 

As always, the Marfa Lights Festival promises lots of fun for the entire family. 

Tickets for the Michael Salgado and Ruben Ramos concerts are $30 for both nights.  One night tickets will be available at the gate for $20.
