Celebrate the first day of 2011 with Ballroom Marfa! For our second annual New Year�s film program, we�ll show Jean Cocteau�s avant-garde film The Blood of a Poet, accompanied by a live score by Matthew Cooper, who performs as Eluvium (http://www.myspace.com/eluviumtaken). All the festivities take place downstairs at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Marfa (124 N. Highland Ave), January 1, 2011. Cocktail hour at 7 pm; film begins at 8 pm. Please join us! (Because nothing rings in the new year quite like a surrealist silent film...)
