Shakespeare comes to Fort Davis on Saturday, August 28th at 6:30 p.m.! Mark your calendars, bring your friends, and plan to have fun at "Midsummer Night's Dream" garden party. Sponsored by the Friends of Jeff Davis County Library, the program will feature students of Alpha Psi Omega theatre group under the direction of Dona Roman of Sul Russ State University. The costumed actors will present selections from the Taming of the Shrew, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Much Ado about Nothing and culminate with the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Live Elizabethan music and light refreshments with wine will complete the event in the beautiful garden setting at the Hotel Limpia in Fort Davis. The Friends will continue its Dream campaign to further its projects that promote and support the Jeff Davis County Library. Further details may be obtained by phoning 426-2544.
