| Description: | Please join Marfa Public Radio and Ballroom Marfa for an evening of classical music on Saturday April 17, at the Crowley Theater in Marfa, TX, with renowned pianist Sarah Rothenberg. Doors open at 7 pm, with the free performance at 7:30 pm. In A Landscape will feature works of Frederic Chopin and John Cage. Sarah Rothenberg is one of the most creative performers of her generation. An exceptional soloist, she has appeared at the Lincoln Center's "Great Performers" series in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, and the Barbican Center in London. In 1994 she became Artistic Director of Da Camera in Houston, and in 2006 made her debut as a soloist with the Houston Symphony. Sarah Rothenberg will be interviewed by Roseland Klein as part of the Classical Midday show on KRTS 93.5 FM, Wednesday at 12:30 PM, with a replay on Saturday at Noon. STREAMING LIVE!
