| Description: | The Chinati Foundation invites you to a special weekend dedicated to the re-opening of Donald Judd's freestanding works in concrete. Donald Judd's fifteen works in concrete at Chinati, which represent the artist's largest and most ambitious outdoor project, have recently received an extensive conservation treatment, including excavation for the pouring of new footings and surface restoration. Marking the completion of this multi-year process, the museum plans to focus on Donald Judd's works in Chinati's collection, with a particular emphasis on his works in concrete, and give them our attention in both a scholarly and celebratory fashion this October.
